Proclamation of Faith

“The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,’ that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” Romans 10: 8-10 (NIV) |
Say Aloud:
“Lord, I come before you now and ask for forgiveness for all of my sins and I forgive those who have offended me. I receive your forgiveness and your unconditional love for me. I proclaim that you are the one True God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I believe that your only Son, Jesus Christ, is our Lord and Savior; that He died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins and rose again on the third day for our eternal salvation. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God who counsels me, teaches me and directs my path to all truth.
I now receive God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, as the blessed Trinity, One in the same, into my life. I am now a child of God, an heir and co-heir with Christ in all that His Kingdom has for me.
I surrender every aspect of my life totally and completely to Jesus Christ. I surrender my will to Christ, and I believe that the Holy Spirit dwells within me to lead me, guide me, comfort me and serve as my direct line of communication with the Heavenly Father. I come to be restored in you, to receive from you all the grace and mercy I so desperately need. I trust you completely to meet my every needand fulfill my true desires, for You are my Redeemer, my Sustainer and my Provider.
I boldly declare that now I am more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ; for greater is He that now lives in me than he that lives in the world. No weapon formed against me will prosper for I am no longer a victim; I live victoriously.
In the name of Jesus Christ, it is done. Amen.”
